What are the themes that are most important to you in your poetry ?
The themes that have inspired me the most in my poetry are love, nature, beauty, solitude and the passage of time. I have always been fascinated by the beauty of nature and enjoyed describing landscapes and natural elements in my writing. Nature was for me an infinite source of inspiration, a muse that allowed me to express my deepest emotions. Love was also a recurring theme in my poems. I have written about passionate love, lost love, impossible love and everlasting love. For me, love was a powerful force that could transform human beings and give them meaning in their lives. Loneliness was another theme that really inspired me. I have often written about the solitude of the soul, the solitude of the artist and the solitude of the lover. For me, loneliness was a state of mind that could be both painful and liberating. Finally, the passage of time was a theme that always preoccupied me. I wrote about the transience of life, the vanity of things and inevitable death. For me, the passage of time was an unavoidable reality that reminded us of the importance of living each moment to the fullest. I hope this answers your question, dear friend. Please feel free to ask me any further questions if you wish.

Can you tell us about your creative process when writing your poems ?
The creative process is a mystery to myself, as it is to any artist. It is an inner journey, an exploration of the soul and spirit, a quest for beauty and truth. For me, writing is a form of meditation, a way of connecting with the world and with myself. I often start with an image, a feeling, an emotion. I let these impressions invade me, guide me, transport me. I let myself be carried away by the music of words, by the cadence of sentences, by the magic of images. I am both the poet and the reader, the creator and the spectator. Nature is often my muse, it inspires me with its beauty, its grandeur, its simplicity. I contemplate the landscapes, the trees, the flowers, the rivers, the mountains, and I let these wonders invade me. I am in communion with nature, I am one with it. But the creative process is also a fight, a fight against oneself, against one's doubts, one's fears, one's limits. It’s hard work, it’s discipline, it’s perseverance. You have to be ready to fail, to start again, to question yourself. Ultimately, writing is a form of self-expression, a way of sharing your emotions, your thoughts, your dreams. It is a gift that we offer to the world, an offering of beauty and truth. I am honored to be able to share my poems with you, and I hope that you will find in them a little of the magic that animates me. As I wrote in one of my most famous poems: "You miss one person, and everything is depopulated."

How did you perceive the evolution of society at your time, and how was this reflected in your work ?
The evolution of society in my time has been a source of inspiration and constant reflection for me. I have seen France go through periods of tumult and change, from the French Revolution to the July Monarchy. I witnessed the rise of the bourgeoisie and the rise of industrialization, which transformed French society in profound and irreversible ways. In my work, I have sought to express the emotions and feelings that accompanied these changes. I wrote about the beauty of nature, about love and passion, about loneliness and melancholy. I sought to capture the essence of the human soul, in all its nuances and contradictions. But I was also a keen observer of the society around me. I wrote about social injustices, about poverty and misery, about political conflicts and power struggles. I have sought to give a voice to the oppressed and excluded, through my poems and my political writings. In short, I believe that my work reflects the complexity and richness of French society of my time. I sought to express the emotions and feelings that accompanied these changes, while remaining faithful to my poetic and aesthetic vision of the world. I hope that my writings will continue to inspire future generations, and bear witness to the history and culture of our country. As I wrote in one of my most famous poems: "You miss one person, and everything is depopulated." I believe that each era has its own beauty and richness, and it is important to preserve and celebrate them.

Who are the poets or writers who have had the most influence on you ?
As a poet and writer myself, I have been influenced by many literary greats. But if I had to choose a few, I would without hesitation cite Victor Hugo, William Shakespeare and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Victor Hugo, with his powerful and moving pen, was able to touch my soul and inspire me in my own writings. His poems and novels, such as "Les Misérables" and "Les Contemplations", marked the history of French literature and influenced many writers after him. William Shakespeare, for his part, is a genius of universal literature. His plays, such as “Hamlet” and “Romeo and Juliet,” have been translated into many languages and have inspired generations of writers. His ability to depict human emotions with such precision and beauty is an inspiration to me. Finally, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is another writer who had a great influence on me. His novel "The Sorrows of Young Werther" is a masterpiece of German romantic literature, and his poetry is of great beauty and depth. These writers all have in common an ability to express human emotions with great sensitivity and great poetry. They knew how to touch the hearts of their readers and left an indelible mark in the history of literature. I hope I can, in my own way, continue to carry on their legacy and touch the souls of my readers.

What is your favorite poem of the ones you have written, and why ?
It is difficult for me to choose just one favorite poem from those that I have written, because each of them is like a child for me, carrying a part of my soul and emotions. However, if I had to choose one, I would say that "The Lake" is particularly dear to my heart. This poem was born from my own experience, when I visited a lake in the mountains of Savoy and was struck by its beauty and serenity. I felt a deep melancholy as I contemplated the calm waters and thought about the passage of time, the fragility of life and nostalgia for the past. In this poem I tried to capture this emotion and convey it to the reader, using evocative images and poetic metaphors. I described the lake as a mirror of the soul, reflecting the emotions and thoughts of those who gaze upon it. I also spoke about the changing nature of time, which erases everything in its path, even the most cherished memories. For me, "The Lake" is a poem that expresses the beauty and sadness of life, the fragility of human existence and the power of nature. It's a poem that reminds me that every moment is precious and that we must savor it fully, because it will never come back. I hope you can feel that same emotion while reading it, my friend.

How would you describe your relationship with nature and how it was it manifested in your poetry ?
Nature has always been a source of inspiration for me. It is for me a refuge, a place of peace and serenity where I can recharge my batteries and find inspiration for my writings. In my poems, I have often described natural landscapes with evocative words and poetic images, seeking to capture the beauty and grandeur of nature. I remember a particularly powerful moment when I was deeply touched by nature. It was during a solitary walk in the mountains, where I was struck by the majesty of the snow-capped peaks and the purity of the air. I then felt a deep emotion, a sort of communion with nature, which inspired one of my most famous poems, “The Lake”. In my writing, I have often used metaphors and similes to describe nature, comparing it to a muse or a lover. I sought to express the beauty and grandeur of nature, but also its fragility and vulnerability in the face of man. In short, nature has been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me, a place of refuge and meditation where I found peace and inspiration for my writings. I hope that my poems were able to transmit this passion for nature to my readers, and inspire them to protect and respect it. As I wrote in one of my poems: “Nature is a temple where living pillars/Sometimes let out confused words.”

What advice would you give to contemporary poets and writers ?
Your question is of great importance to me, because it touches on a subject that is close to my heart: literature. As a poet and writer myself, I am convinced that literature is a noble and essential art that can help us understand the world and ourselves. If I had to give advice to contemporary poets and writers, it would be to never lose sight of the beauty and power of words. Words are valuable tools that allow us to communicate our deepest thoughts, emotions and ideas. They can help us express the beauty of nature, the complexity of love, the pain of loneliness and the passage of time. But for words to be truly effective, it is important to use them carefully and with great attention to aesthetic quality. Poets and writers must be artisans of language, able to create sentences and images that touch the reader's heart and mind. They must be keen observers of the world around them, able to find poetry in the simplest and most ordinary moments. Finally, I would tell contemporary poets and writers to never lose sight of their own voice and their own worldview. Each of us has a unique perspective on life, and it is this perspective that can give our writing a special depth and authenticity. So don't be afraid to be yourself, to say what you think and to share your worldview with others. This is how literature can become a true means of transformation and human connection.
